Dr Aljabi is a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed his higher specialty training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery on the prestigious Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (North West Thames) rotation in London, United Kingdom – working in a number of world renowned units including University College London Hospital, Royal Free London trust and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. His fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery was in Cardiff with Mr Rhys Thomas and in Leicester with Ms Patricia Allen (Past President of the British Foot and Ankle Society). He completed a traveling fellowship to Dr Yves Tourné (Past President of the European Foot and Ankle Society) at Cliniqué des Cedres in Grenoble, France. His consultant practice is based in the Republic of Ireland at the National Orthopaedic Hospital (Cappagh), St Vincent’s University Hospital – Dublin, Beacon Hospital and the Galway Clinic. Dr Aljabi’s clinical specialist interest is in sport-related injuries of the foot and ankle, ankle arthroplasty, deformity correction and complex trauma of the foot and ankle.
